This book is about love and fidelity, but not only about that. Some religious topics, historical incidents, and people who have changed life on our planet are touched upon. It was impossible to leave aside the questions of morality. The lines about hatred, anti-Semitism, racism, violence, and murder are cruel, but you need to read about this to know—or not forget— we must fight this evil.
One of the characters in the book said that even those who have not read Romeo and Juliet know they were kissing. The story of unhappy lovers follows us—in films, songs, poems, and epigrams. What can we think about when we see a young man and a girl smiling at each other on the balcony? It's Romeo and Juliet! Someone said that Romeo and Juliet are dead. How can that be? Life never dies, only falls asleep to wake up again. A girl in love, a character of the story, objected to the statement that Romeo and Juliet were fictional. She said they exist, but she hasn't met them yet. At the end of her difficult but beautiful life, she realized Juliet was her, and Romeo was the one she loved.
Young Shakespeare becomes a participant in the acquaintance of Romeo and Juliet. Shakespeare follows them--to the Arab village lost among the sands, to snow-covered Russia, to America. He goes through the Second World War with them, gets on a plane with them in Berlin, stands with them in Red Square in Moscow, and is ready to repeat this difficult path to save those he loves. The characters and names of the main characters are fictional, but actual people inspired them. The historical events in which the heroes of the book fall are real.
The book is written in the format of a screenplay. Why not? Everyone loves movies, and popcorn is not hard to make at home. In our viral time, this is becoming relevant. Stay healthy, my friends.
The book combines six variations and an epilogue.
